Because the magazine does not run a shop, a course, or a stitching service, messages about orders, commissions, repairs, or teaching are outside its scope and cannot be handled here.

When you write about an article, identify it precisely. Include the article title, its section label, and the publication date shown on the page. Quote the exact sentence or passage you are referring to. This helps the team locate the passage without confusion.

State clearly what you believe is inaccurate or unclear. If you are requesting a correction, include the evidence that supports the change. Useful evidence includes a book with author, title, publisher, and page, a museum or archive record with a catalogue number, a named textile collection reference, or a dated primary source. General opinion or unsupported claims cannot be actioned.

The team reviews correction requests and may update an article when the evidence supports a change. Corrections are made to the article itself rather than listed separately. Not every request will result in a change, and the editorial decision rests with the magazine.

Do not send personal data you would not want stored. The magazine keeps only what is needed to review a message about its content.
